Stop abusing the poor Palestinian people of Gaza

Tel Aviv regime is threatening to escalate its siege of Gaza strip which means that the poor Palestinian people of Gaza will suffer even more and that their already vicious conditions will be even worse in the coming days . The main wrongdoing of Gaza residents is that they freely chose a government that Israel and Washington do not like . Even headed by Islamist HAMAS , this government represent the free will of the masses , as at the last election these Islamists represent the only viable alternative to the corrupt bureaucratic , pro-American National Authority . As it was in Beirut 1982 when PLO and Lebanese National movement fighters representing the armed Lebanese and Palestinian masses , taking advantage of the weakness of the central government and its position as neutral observer in face of the Israeli invasion , were the core of the resistance and the real governing power on the ground . The freedom of Gaza people is , as that one of Beirut 1982 , is not optimal of course , but even such limited freedom makes the Tyrants trembling . We , as Arab progressives , are criticizing continuously the fundamental positions of HAMAS , at the same time we are asking to shift the real power to the masses on the ground in order to stand effectively to the threat of any armed Israeli invasion or siege and to fulfill the real will of the masses . We think that the present and coming escalation against Gaza "s masses is meant to destroy the will and the desire of the Palestinian people for freedom and that opposing this aggression is in the interest of the Arab masses and the world "s oppressed peoples .
