In the Middle East, the struggle to maintain a normal life is constantly undermined by the eruption of a new war. People try to go about their daily lives, waking up, having coffee, bracing themselves for another day in an unfulfilling job, and dealing with the never-ending responsibilities. Yet not too long before another conflict emerges, often involving the resurgence of a terrorist organization, and the world is drawn back into the region’s turmoil. At the same time, Western leaders seem too eager to tap into Middle Eastern wealth and then try to solve the problems, while local leaders believe that money has the power to solve any challenge and silence any dissent. The result is a cycle in which the hope for a peaceful, secular society stays out of reach.
In the Middle East we are slowly witnessing the same cycle repeating itself. Leaders in the region have become aware of the new rules in the game; they can pour money into world leaders’ pockets in return for their silence and mediation. It only requires a trillion-dollar deal for Western leaders to change their position about a member of a “terrorist” group to a “peacemaker” in a heartbeat. This time around Arab leaders will do anything, even starve their own people to buy the West’s silence, add to that allowing the Muslim Brotherhood back into the political theater just to maintain power. However, what matters the most to each leader is to be crowned as “the ruler of the region.” they are welling to kill each other, willing to topple each-other to dominate the middle east, The underlying lesson is that money has become the primary tool to maintain their grip on power, and the West has sold their soul with an appetite for corrupting.
Meanwhile, Arab leaders are not far from western leaders when it comes to playing the double face game, for decides I used to think that Arab leaders are serious about eradicating radical groups and Muslim brotherhood, I was extremely naïve, until I realize that there were only one´-or-two leaders in the middle eastern history who actually did try to eradicate Muslim brotherhood and they paid their lives for it, the current leaderships will only topple Islamist if their thrones are threatened, other than that I stopped believing them, specially, when they say give false statements regarding thwarting Muslim brotherhood and Salafi groups, simply, because they are -function-ing on every country in the middle east, they might not be at the front of the political theatre, they are very much -function-al behind the scene, operating in every ministry and each department. while in some other cases, Arab leaders have formed secret ties with Muslim Brotherhood and Salafi groups, from Sudan to Yemen and Türkiye, watch the news and watch how they are hugging Muslim Brotherhood leaders, and label them as close allies. They manipulate the Western audience, so they come across as moderate leaders who are forbidden Islamists from any political role, they are only forbidden from the public scene, while Christians are being persecuted in each Muslim country. Arab leaders and the Muslim Brotherhood have a hidden coalition to suppress other minorities in the Middle East. Christians, Druze, and Kurdish people are being slaughtered every day all around the Middle East and some countries in Africa, it won’t be mentioned in the news, with zero condemnations, Arab leaders didn’t even condemn Hamas over October 7th. They won’t move the needle when Muslims are killing other Muslims and minority groups. Moreover, they will move to the next event like business as usual, and if minorities dare to fight back, the outrage will pour out from every corner of the Islamic world, by labelling the Druze, Kurds, and Jews as agitators and stating in the media as a dangerous escalation that will lead to instability in the region. They will keep quiet while Islamist groups film themselves raping and slaughtering Kurds and Druze. The leaders in the region are cowards-;- they will never fight extremists. By means, why do you think Arab leaders won’t separate religion from the state to keep the promises they give on the UN podium, and other western platform, lecturing the world about freedoms and civil rights, and how they are transforming their states to a secular states, while women are still fighting for their civil rights, and prosecuted under the sharia laws, why those Islamist still have immunity to scream every Friday at the mosques “burn the Americans, death to the jew and death to the western countries” if a friend of yours ever told you that Muslim brotherhood are forbidden from any public role, that’s a big fat lie and a deceiving statement, because they run every aspect of our lives.
Also the Iranian lie, I used to think middle eastern leaders want to overturn the mullahs regime in Iran, only to find out the bitter truth, when the regime was a few feet away from falling, Arab leaders opened a dialog with the regime in Tehran, saving the theocratical regime from collapsing, simply because the Iran lie kept a lot of people in middle east under control, by installing fear in people’s heart, and orchestrating a manipulative tactics to convenes people that if the throne is threaten, then Iran will rule the region, and then you watch in the news Muslim leaders shaking hands with Iranian leaders in Tehran and invite them to our countries, I gradually started to uncover the many layers of “ How to keep our citizens under the Iranian threat spell”.
The problem in the middle east is simple, it’s an endless religious war, it’s bigger than the geopolitics you hear in the news, it’s an ideological war, the dogma behind the chaos, even those who describe themselves as seculars have rotten hate for minorities and jews in the region, most of the time you hear people in the middle east the majority of Arabs express their hate to other religions, look at the barbarity against the Druze community and Christians, while jews were prosecuted for decades, did you noticed how they washed down the massacres in Syria? Because deep down, even the leaders in this region look down on minorities, pay attention to the way the leaders in the region condemn the Israeli strikes in Iran so quickly, yet not one whisper for the Druze, did you hear any leader voicing their concerns over the massacres in Sudan, Syria, and against the Christians all around the region? If Muslims are killing Muslims, it’s not a problem, especially when the massacres are carried out against other ethnicities. Yet, the minute minorities ask for help from Israel, you immediately hear harsh statements and condemnation from leaders against Israel.
In one hand, the right thinks that financial deals can fix all the madness in this region, while having personal business deal and businessmen making side deals, as a guarantee for an ever lasting peace, you can’t just throw all the -dir-t on the wall and thinking money will help clean that mass, you can’t take money from Muslim brotherhood and wealthy monarchies then force peace, it’s just a matter of time before it explodes again, a real solution requires more than a transaction and negotiations among just businessmen whose making their own betting, because true peace is not a side deal, it’s more than that. It’s the ideological wars you need to resolve, it’s the minds that you need to penetrate and change centuries of religious prejudice, the attempts to wash down and legitimize Al Qaeda leader in Syria by applying some makeup and changing his rope for financial´-or-political gain will send a dangerous message, suggesting that slaughtering minorities and committing act of violence can be forgiven if a deal on the horizon shows up. For example, trying to fix a troubled and toxic relationship by having sex, thinking that it’s a magical tool that will fix a fundamentally broken relationship, just because it’s euphoric in bed, does not resolve anything.
On the other side of the spectrum, you have the left enthralled by chaos and extremism, the new alliance between the liberals and progressive and terrorist organizations such as, Hamas, Hizballah and Muslim brotherhood, since when liberals are in support of wars and chaos in the streets and assassination culture, a side have become totally captivated by burning the streets and supporting crimes on the streets and criminals, attacking others freedom and threating others physically, a side that holds a terrorist organisations flag with in the middle of the western capitals. This kind of alliance is a short-lived kind of agreement-;- they will be the first in line for prosecutions and execution. The same alliance between communists and mullahs in Iran, ended with the largest public executions in modern history.
In the middle east, states and societies, will always supress deeper issues hoping it will be resolved by time, both are welling to sweep the -dir-t under the rug hoping that no one will smell it´-or-uncover it, hoping it will magically disappear, and with that you will always end up living and having a filthy home, it looks shiny on the outside, but a pandora box in the inside.
