With the dawning of the bird s voice
And with the end of the evening lights
I see you depart
My alienation throws me far away from you
To you
I embrace what remains of my life s moments
And close the eyes of the soul to the ticking of the hours
And depart silently
I hold the arms of your ghost
Mock the foolishness of the sea
And challenge it to drown me in my worries
While I am in your hands
Even if for moments you were still far from me
In the depths of absence!!
