Christ Jesus is making a deep distinction between the Wise Faith of His Apostles and the lame naughtiness of the slaves of the devil.

Since the greatest sign of Deity is the Creation which is explained in Genesis1 “The Beginning:In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” it’s insignificant to ask Christ Jesus: the Creator a sign from Heaven in the earth while it is created by Him and this question is demonstrating obviously a mischievousness of the Pharisees and Sadducees when they wanted to test Him? Not to be a wise sower to the Heavenly Kingdom but to show how they are really petty in the sense of a vain research of a sign coming from the sky! Whereas the sign can never come from the sky but the interpretation of its appearance, which is certainly deluding, is becoming an “atmospheric process” studied through the meteorology which is “a branch of the atmospheric sciences”.
Matthew 16:1-4
The Demand for a Sign
16 The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven.
2 He replied, “When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’ 3 and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.[a] 4 A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Jesus then left them and went away.”
For herein, Christ Jesus is making a conceptual and meaningful distinction between the Sign and the appearance since the source of the sign is God however the appearance is an illusion which is deluding the lip-deep Pharisees and Sadducees who are seeking for a candling in the image of their spiritual vide.
On the contrary the root of the Sign is God thus His sign is in His image: Divine and Human, for these reasons Christ Jesus is saying: “but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah” to declare tacitly that the Human who is created in His Holy Image is the Sign of God :
“Genesis 1:26-28
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them-;-
male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number-;- fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
Furthermore the Temple of God is His own Prophets and Apostles who are in His Image thus they cannot be part of a perverse and unfaithful spawn that demands a sign but they are on the contrary His faithful children who are rejecting all vain questions sexual lust and blur to foster the Word of God through being, with Him, a laborious sower to His Kingdom from this earth through planting the Holy Word of God in their hearts and nullifying all query which is showing an unbelieving attitude coming surely from the evil.
So even if Christ Jesus’ Apostles are persecuted and rejected by this damned world they are rejoicing through the promoted treasure conceived and created for them : the Heavenly Kingdom, although the Hidden treasure is not their purpose in itself but It is their purpose as the Holy Place where they are aspiring to live with Christ Jesus to be able to contemplate His Holly Face since the Apostles are predestined by God the Father to possess a pure hearts capable to see God and due to this purity of heart the Apostles are loving Christ Jesus as the finality of their Apostleship which is meaning that they are His Apostles through loving Him and to love Him in the same way .
Thus the Apostles are receiving the Teachings of Christ Jesus as the good seeds planted in the good soil to be wise servants to His Heavenly Kingdom who are enduring the trials and persecutions to testify about the Resurrection of Christ Jesus and according to their wisdom, they are understanding that the rejection of this fallen world and the persecution coming from the beasts persecutors, because of their incurable hatred, are a signs of the Holy Calling of the Apostleship for thus they have hated and persecuted their Master: Christ Jesus since they cannot serve God and Mammon.
Accordingly this deep and true wisdom is giving them a noble heart and a brave behaviour as a result since they are enduring the persecution to a pure spiritual and noble purpose: the Righteousness which is the basis of Christ Jesus’ Teachings.
John 15:18-27
The World Hates the Disciples
18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’[a] If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin-;- but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. 24 If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. 25 But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated me without reason.’[b]
Thus the antichrists are on the contrary a “broad of vipers swamped by the devil’s scourge since they are blinded by it to suffer the same fate: “cursed above all the livestock and all the wild animals! Who “will crawl on their belly and will eat dust all the days of their life”
