Is Mubarak a Criminal of War?
By: Freeyad Ibrahim ( Zabarjad)
The Change Wind sweeps the East part of the globe as it was earlier predicted. The tempest is similar of Balkans’ in the ninetieth of last century after the Fall of Berlin Wall in 1989. The criminals of war wanted dead or alive most of them were captured alive and tried in the International Court in Den Haag .The world now are all watching the East , all eyes are turned to the Middle East. Until now the world has witnessed the downfall of two idols: one of Bagdad , the other of Tunisia, with the regime of Mubarak to be the next. This last one is desperately attempting to beautify his ugly face but in vain. No plastic surgery can ever avail him! People outcry is louder than all his loudspeakers, shutters the vast space of Cairo, and other big cities: “Mubarak leave us ,let us be, you have been 30 years the mosquito of Egypt , kifaya our blood is not less holy than water of Nile.”
But is “let us be free, and leave..” an enough punishment, a just penalty for the despots. If this could be a punishment how would a reward look like then? Beware , peoples of the Arab Homeland, gallant Egyptians open your eyes widely. The mean Hosni Alllamubarak has first sent all the members of his family to the safe and prosper London in order to arrange the last deal with his masters who helped him suck your bloods. It is an undeniably fact, I confirm on this podium, that he and his corrupt family are generously rewarded by letting them go, to be welcomed and embraced by their friends overseas. The demonstrators, I propose, therefore should rather shout : “Mubarak must be captured and brought to justice as a criminal of war.” Is he a criminal of war really? My answer is: Yes! Ya, his hands are well stained with blood, yellow blood, may I call it.I believe that a red death of Saddam, to an extent, was more merciful than the yellow death. The latter death implies that the citizens are humiliated, struck by poverty and irrecoverable diseases before they are eventually put to death. Isn’t a slow starvation more painful than a quick one by a bullet?! In this way Mubarak, Ali Abdullah Saleh, Kaddafi, king Fahd, King Muhammad of Morocco, Bashar al Asad, are all blood suckers, killers.
Exactly like the Balkan criminals of war these too must be punished as genocide criminals, be handed over to the International Court condemned and convicted for multi- folded crime against humanity: hungering their own folk to starve to death, embezzlement, misuse of the national wealth, oppression of opposition figures, torturing and disfiguring their political opponents, violence against the human rights. The punishment, the just and fair one, should include the family of the fleeing despots and dictators , they too should be held responsible for the sufferings of the mass. Their wealth to be seized by a multinational committee who would work in coordination and cooperation with the head of the new government. This retrieved money would be used to rebuilt the country and its infrastructure. In this way the peoples’ blood is pumped back into their body. Open your eyes my fellow sufferers this is a new form of imperialism and colonialism. Since 1950 , the West has imposed mosquito- rulers on the neck of the Arab peoples. The West is , after all , the first and the last benefiters. All that billions of dollars of sheiks and other despots sucked and put in the banks of U.S, U.K, Switzerland , France..The West continues sucking our blood thus via these mosquito- rulers. The motto must, hence, be adjusted to match the new development: “Bring the despots to justice and seize their riches which are ours.” Yes the Egyptians, Tunisians, and the Iraqis and all Arabic Community in the exile should rally to manifest their anger in front of both: the embassies of their own countries in Europe and US and the embassies of the West countries in their own countries and cry in one ear piercing thunder: “Capture the fleeing despot , we want our money back.” It was a heart-warming action yesterday that the victims of chemical attack of Halabaja town 1988, who are utterly neglected by Kurdistan hateful and hideous tribal local leaders, stood before the Parliament Chamber in Holland demanding confiscation from the Dutch merchant Van Anraat , the provider of chemicals to the regime of Bagdad in the eightieth.
It is a right step in the right direction to be adopted and pursued now and in the future.
