Rain..won’t come

Your smiling bright face warbles wishes ,
Chants anthems of aspirations
like the pigeon.
O ye, the outrigger of the soul !
What’s the matter,
That you glitter
and glint
like a gold ring stone
Whenever the sun cuddles you?
You hop like a gazelle into my mind,
Don’t you know
that the distances have got a gnawing hunger?!
****************************
Decades have passed and you still
are rolling me up
to your liking
with cords embroidered with roses,
alltogether with a prolonged history of contradictions
I ….and you
*************************
For the autumn…
How often…I opened my balconies
For a mere flutter , for a waft
Similer to the very merry childhood of your love
Soon I let go, and cast my obsessions far away
…you are not like the others
Unique
Nothing resembles …your frangrance!
****************************
Time wanes, and things expire,
Except for… you ..
For you live in your everlasting abode; my soul,
With your most graceful…the most splendid Time
more sublime than all times...
badged with warmth and peace,
Despite the bitterness…
*********************
I don’t like parting from you
your departure I hate most
I haven’t noticed your vanishing shade behind the door
Yet the hush of the house …
Has disclosed your secrete..
And has equally extolled my intuition.
And gifted it with an effusive praise
**********************
You’ll never come back…
Hence, why should I sow futile phantom farms
Or till the lot of dumb dreams
waiting for zamzam water
in vain,
Since this falls not from the heaven !
*****
