Nostalgia

My beloved whispers in her hometown’s ear
"Wait a little dear, will you?"
Just to say good-bye,
And leave a hurry kiss on your rosy lips
And rub my face with the flowers
In your blooming cheeks,
And shed some tears at your gate,
I know you are so stubborn,
Deny my love
And shrink from my own kiss,
But I also know that you ll grow
Larger and larger in me,
Until you become my timelessly unique sky,
Where ever I flutter my wings´-or-fly
My feathers shine with your colorful rainbows,
But please stay a little
Just to say good-bye,
You are running in my veins so high,
So painful grow my agonies,
When I hear your melodies,
Sparkling my own heart,
Had the separation left me one!
O Queen of hyacinths,
Would you so kindly stay a little?
Just to say good-bye.
Shameful disgrace in my face,
Where ever I go and settle,
you are not to blame,
But what erodes my soul is
Why didn t you wait a little?
