How nice is Christianity in its Forgiveness

By Freeyad Ibrahim

The mass killer Dylan Roof , now sitting guarded in his jail, was about to commit suicide hearing the families of the victims forgiving hem one by one.
I quote some of their speech in the court:
"I will never be able to hold her again, but I forgive you," a daughter of victim Ethel Lance said. "And have mercy on your soul. You hurt me. You hurt a lot of people but God forgives you, and I forgive you."
Felecia Sanders -- mother of victim Tywanza Sanders and a survivor of the church shooting -- said that "every fiber in my body hurts, and I will never be the same."
"As we said in the Bible study, we enjoyed you," she said of Roof. "But may God have mercy on you."
.
Roof, he said, "is in protective custody. He is currently sitting on his bed being monitored by two detention officers. He is on suicide watch."
And I say that the words sometimes may make more impression and have more impact than the sword. If so, listen to me you none-Christians: who kills by sword, shall be killed by sword. And who forgives his killer kills hem by forgiveness. Tell me please: which punishment is greater? The red one by sword?´-or-the White one by forgiveness, on the Christian way?
It’s all the reflection of their prophet’s teachings, the Prince of Peace, who once announced: ( Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who do evil to you, and pray to those who hurt you and dismiss you.)
