Arab democracies to come sooner´-or-later!!
The Arab world is made up of 22 countries as well as nearly 400 million people. Arab states do not resemble each other geographically, demographically, socially and economically, because while the Gulf States has huge economic potential in one side, countries like Yemen, Somalia, Mauritania and Egypt covers great poverty. But the most common thing between the Arab countries is the language and religion, the two assistant factors for continuation of the joint cooperation as well as economic integration. Of course this is a very positive tool for most of the Arab countries. But the major concern is what is going on in those countries which seems to be more like a political mess than political revolutions, because the changes so far is going nowhere,´-or-we could say exactly rather changes with no -dir-ection. But I think most of the "Arab States" will put their vehicles on the right track in the next five to ten years. The establishment of democracy in countries like Tunisia, Egypt and Iraq to some extent may succeed in the transfer of their nations to safety, and they could be successful in the implementation of democracy if they succeed over terrorism.
I also expect “based on the history of the region”, the end of the inevitability of the unwanted dictator governments of the Arab countries and to replace by the governments chosen by the people, and if that goal hopefully accomplished would be for the first time in the history of the region. Because the worried young Arabs as a result of ignorance, illiteracy and neglect of their governments for last decades, will no longer neglect their rights of freedom and would no longer accept the looting of their dignity by tire dictator governments. In addition to that, they would no longer accept to be blind followers to their governments, but instead they would take responsibility for things in their hands, so they can focus better in to their future.
Of course the rise of Islamic movements after the so called Arab spring did not really succeed in leading the Arab nations in to the future and their failure to represent the new generations to what they were looking for such as modernity, civil institutions, equality, liberal thinking, as well as women’s rights, which they are all alien to fundamental and traditional Islamic values and are categorically rejected. The political values of Islam under the principle of shura are contradictory with the values of liberal democracy and both ideologies unfortunately cannot co-exist.
Probably for all these reasons the Islamists after forming Governments in Tunisia and Egypt as we did see, faced the real test and serious economic issues as well as social and political consequences of enacting religious-oriented laws in countries enjoyed secular relationships for over a century.
After all, we got to be optimist even though the summer of the Arabs seems to be too warm but the changes hopefully will pour in one -dir-ection, namely to get rid of dictatorships fierce and to build democratic institutions, although in a modest form in the beginning, but could develop gradually to the real stage of democracy, as happened in the West.
In reality the currents fail of the Islamic political movements gives a great opportunity to the liberal and enlightened believers in democracy can breathe a sigh of relief because their chance to governance and the exercise of power is possible in the Arab world after the chaos that engulfed most areas. In fact the forces of liberalism are the only real modern movements-;- if they unite their ranks can be able to lead the Arab world toward a bright future.
the new generations of the Arab peoples that make up more than 50% of ratio, could not continue to be ruled the by the sectarian and confessional that were common in earlier times and cannot accept the tyranny, whether civilian´-or-Islamist and they can not in any way accept clerical rule, which stems from the historical and cultural perspectives and governed under the laws of the provisions of the old mentality, filled with the spirit of distinction, excellence and racism, particularly against ethnic minorities, and against women, especially today’s Arab world which is part of the global communications media where the ideas of secularism and modern Globalizing knock on every door and nest in every school, colleges and universities.
