The Middle Eastern Union

When I go abroad , tell people that I am from Syria in the Middle East ,many gaze at me with a big question mark ?
Middle East on foreigner s eye is just a land of terrorism and a hard-line Islam. Even after about a one century of renaissance within the middle eastern societies, the region still without any high kind of rank within the world s most respectable measures of growth and development.
In the middle east, there are a huge resources of growth and competitiveness within the world s race for a higher lifestyle s level.
In fact, the Middle East term is not a scientific one, because ,in this days, for westerners mean the whole area between India and morocco , and that’s totally false.
Middle East term , should means only the eastern coast of Mediterranean – Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Jordan- plus the Arabia , Iran, Iraq and turkey. because north Africa Arabic states are so far from those countries and they are nearer to the west . also, Pakistan and Afghanistan are so far for the west , also again, both , north Africa and Indian subcontinent are not involved in the middle east issues and concerns.
in this study, I will announce an initiative for unite the middle eastern countries under one federal government to help improving the situations in the region which indeed wants to be one of the world s best regions!.
I will focus on four to six countries, that are the most connected politically, historically, economically and culturally. Because, I think that are the most important element to create economic-political union.
But, first of all, are we need such union?
History never record any progress depends on a self-confidence only, but , peoples should interacts with each other and so also the governments. In simple way, one who has food should share it with another one who has water!.
This simple principle is a fact, and people every where in any time do this. But , the question here is ; why the both persons who have water and food not sharing the same views against other groups?.
Here, in the Middle East, governments always buy and sell from each other, but , without any less co-ordination on politic and economic issues. The result is ; no one could stand alone in this world where Nato, USA, EU and Asean are exist.
Many talking about Middle Eastern countries ability to go ahead in idea like this. many reporters and intellectuals doubt , say; Middle Eastern countries will never be united or at least co-ordinate with each other because the geographical position of the region!.
Frankly, that’s right. The position of the Middle East has always played a double role as it s original sin and it s paradise.
Another difficult issue, people used to talking about is religion and races, and how it s hard to see a multiculturalism round table takes place in the Middle East in this time!.
In the Middle East, at least about 80 religious way. For some ,it’s one of the most difficult point that never help in creating such union, but for me it s a very high standard of a useful thing. However , that’s diversity is an important resource of money if we invest the diversity in tourism, for instance.
In the Middle East, religions , ethnics and races are an original parts of the region. Each race has it s culture and tradition, add to it s point of view about the modernity and the future as it s see.
In fact, if we start talking about difficulties we will never finish. So why don’t talking about possibilities. Why never present solutions to our problems.
I see the Middle East if we take care about it s issues, difficulties and possibilities as a great place to live in and a safe environment for human kind s creative soul.
To unite the Middle East, it s a great mission that the autocratic and totalitarian regimes are not invited to make it!. That’s means , Syria, Iraq, Iran are not able to co-ordinate in such process until transforming their regimes into democracy.
That’s also means, turkey is a Trojan horse to help other partners governments in the region to transforming into democracy. Turkey is also requested to beef up it s democracy and the secularism within the state s establishments.
I admit that my invitation is as same as Leo Trotsky invitation for the united European states, which should rising up on peoples shoulders and struggle, because I see the Middle East today as Europe when Trotsky called for Europeans to revolt against Nazism, fascism and Stalinism to create their own state and never waiting the politicians in the dictatorial regimes, because they are not able and never want to see peoples enjoy freedom and dignity.
