Since thoughts become things, what would you like to think into being today?
I Declare Today That:I am peace.

Peace is not merely a distant goal that we seek, but a means by which we arrive at that goal. ~ Martin Luther King

Can you think back to this week a year ago today when I presented the idea to you for forming a nucleus that will foster peace in the Middle East and grant ours and our following generations the experience that I knew Life intended - Lasting Peace?

During 2010, I was committed to setting an example about Being the Change for you by applying my own words and actions. I sent out over 104 newsletters last year focusing on ways to experience change with greater vision and clarity. I worked to live the messages those newsletters contained. I established and used myself positive steps in my daily life that support peace from within me individually on a day-to-day basis, and then out into the world of this readership.

"Foster peace inside your thoughts. Watch for angry flare ups. Don t seek revenge. Don t consider war a solution. Abhor violence. Recognize the face of fear. Don t be contentious, seeking conflict or strife.

Foster peace in your speech. If you say something non-peaceful, something angry, violent, or revengeful, stop immediately and take back those words. Say something like "Oh, that is not what I meant to say. I take it back. What I meant to say was ....."

Foster peace in your actions. When you work toward the good, in all of your thoughts, your words, and your actions, you will create in your life your innate identity of love and friendship that you truly deserve. Once you have this in place that which you want for yourself, you will seek for mankind.Peacemaking is part and parcel of your development as a human being."

So many of you, my readers, took the vow, lived a year of peace, and offered many suggestions for creating lasting peace last year. Can you again promise yourself The Vow of Non-Violence in 2011 for the betterment of the Middle East?

I Want To Invite You to Take Action Now

Please consider taking The Vow of Non-Violence in 2011 in your thoughts, your speech and your actions, one who will foster peace in the Middle East, from the inside, out. From one tiny acorn might oaks grow.

Share your vow with me for this year. I am open to receiving suggestions for ways to strengthen this movement, ways to support peace and one another and share our ideas. You can email me at [email protected] .

Let s once again make this the most practical, most useful, most far-reaching New Year s Resolution we ever make.

Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without. ~ Buddha
